33 IS NOT MAGIC NUMBER FOR TOM CRUISE WITH DIVORCE NUMBER THREE

Tom Cruise is “deeply saddened” by his impending split from Katie Holmes after she filed for divorce after five years of marriage. The actor’s rep released a statement saying, “Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children,” adding, “Please allow them their privacy to work this out.” 49-year-old Cruise married 33-year-old Holmes in November 2006, and they have a daughter together, Suri, 6.

However, it seems that Tom Cruise could have seen this coming due to a strange coincidence; all of his marriages seem to break down when the wife is 33 years old, and officially end when she hits 34!

Cruise’s first wife, Mimi Rogers was 31 when she wedded a 25-year-old Cruise in May 1987, they broke up in 1990, when Mimi was 33. In December of 1990, Cruise married Nicole Kidman, 23. This second marriage hit the rocks in 2001, when Nicole was, you guessed it, 33! Katie Holmes, then 28, wed Cruise in 2006, seven months after daughter Suri was born.

In each marriage, the split was finalized when the bride turned 34. Katie turns 34 in December.
