George Zimmerman was acquitted for the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, but he can’t seem to stay out of the headlines after reports say the former neighborhood watch member threatened his wife and his father-in-law. It seems that Zimmerman punched his estranged wife’s dad during a dispute. Zimmerman rents the house he shared with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Shellie, but his father-in-law owns the property, creating a problem when they bumped into each other at the home.
George showed up to remove a few things as the divorce proceedings continue against him, but he was confronted by his father-in-law who declared it was his house. George then replied that he paid the rent and punched Shellie’s dad in the face. However, matters deepened for Zimmerman after his wife called 911, claiming that she felt threatened by her husband (who happened to have another woman in the car with him).
Shellie was caught on tape saying George was sat in a car outside of the home with “his hand on his gun and saying, ‘Step closer.’ ” Shellie went on, “Dad, get inside the house! George might start shooting at us, I don’t know.” She then told dispatchers, “He’s just threatening all of us with his firearm, and he’s gonna shoot us,” adding, “He punched my dad in the nose, my dad has a mark on his face, I saw his glasses on the floor. He accosted my father, and took my iPad out of my hand, and smashed it and cut it with a pocket knife.” She went on, “He just showed up here…. I’m really, really afraid…. I don’t know what he’s capable of, I’m really scared.”
However, despite the call, sources later said that George didn’t have a gun on him, and while he was held under “investigative custody” by the police, he was being cooperative.
George Zimmerman is a walking time bomb, and karma will eventually pay him his just due.
