JUSTIN BIEBER ON FLOYD MAYWEATHER FRIENDSHIP
Justin Bieber spoke on being an honorary member of Floyd Mayweather JRs ‘Money Team.’ The pop-singer spoke on the currently incarcerated boxing champion, saying, “After I met him, we just connected and exchanged numbers and started talking.” Bieber revealed that Mayweather offers him business advice, saying, “He gives me advice about business and how to make sure I’m being taken care of,” the 18-year-old singer continued, “He’s Money Mayweather. He wants to make sure I’m making the right investments.”
Bieber also spoke on his surprise appearance in the ring alongside Mayweather after his fight against Miguel Cotto in May. Bieber was joined by rappers 50 Cent and Lil Wayne, “He asked me to walk him out, and I was like, ‘of course’,” Bieber said. “I had the belts, me and 50, it was a lot of fun.” Having experienced a sell-out boxing crowd, Bieber said there was a difference between that and his usual audience. “I’m used to screams, but these were different because they weren’t as high pitched,” Bieber recalled, “These were older guys, so it was more like ‘yeah’ (says roaring) and not like ‘aaah’ (high-pitched squeal).”
In other Justin Bieber news, the singer’s alleged brawl with a photographer has been turned over to prosecutors. Reports say that the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office is now reviewing the case, and will determine whether Justin gets charged with misdemeanor battery. Bieber is facing the charge after getting into a fight with a photographer as he left a movie at the Calabasas Commons with girlfriend, Selena Gomez on May 27th.
