Celebrity publicist, Patti Webster (49), has lost her battle with brain cancer on September 13th. Webster was a well-regarded publicist who started the well-known W&W Public Relations, Inc. agency back in 1991 in Middlesex, New Jersey. During this time, she represented a diversified range of top notch celebrities ranging from singers, Janet Jackson, Usher and Alicia Keys, to basketball players Magic Johnson and Dwight Howard, as well as actress Halle Berry.
Prior to starting her own firm, Webster worked in the New York office of Rogers and Cowan, where she was responsible for PR accounts of Julio Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Diana Ross, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder and Celine Dion (Just to name a few).
In 2009, Webster, who was also an ordained minister in the church, released “It Happened in Church: Stories of Humor From the Pulpit to the Pews,” which had a foreword by gospel sensation, Donnie McClurkin.
Patti Webster was an amazing publicist, which we, at PopCulturez.com, had the pleasure of working with. May she sleep peacefully, as her incredible body of work lives on. Blessings…
