WILL.I.AM HAS CAR STOLEN?

Will.i.am held a party at The Avalon in Hollywood on Monday evening, but while guests like Lindsay Lohan and date, Nicole Scherzinger enjoyed themselves, someone was outside making off with the rapper’s car. While Will.I.Am launched his new album, ‘#Willpower,’ someone stole his white custom DeLorean. The car was the template for the auto firm, ‘IAMAUTO,’ that the Black Eyed Pea said he wanted to launch this year to provide jobs in his native L.A.

The 37-year-old realized his car was missing when he left the party in the early hours of the morning, tweeting, “My car was stolen…what the f—.” He continued, writing, “#givemebackmycar this joke is getting old…” The car hadn’t turned up by Tuesday afternoon, as Will.I.Am once again took to Twitter, “Flying to portland for #intel while my car is still m.i.a…#wheresmycar.”

Despite being a seemingly straight-up case of vehicle theft, some reports have suggested that the car wasn’t stolen at all, merely locked away where the valet had parked it for the night. Sources note that the LAPD were not informed of the theft, while Will.I.Am’s rep even confirmed, “Everything is fine, he has his car.”

So, what’s going on, was the car stolen, was it a mistake, or was it all a publicity stunt?
